CPIM 2010 Schedule

CPIM Academy provides public funds managers the ability to select courses about Investments, Cash Management, Finance, and Ethics. The course offerings are structured to meet the various levels of educational and experience of Ohio’s public funds managers. The course numbering series of 100 to 400 is patterned after the traditional collegiate structure; 100-level courses are designed to address fundamentals and the 400-level classes are more advanced.

As is true with the traditional college setting, students entering higher education must complete “freshman orientation.” In keeping with this spirit, we have implemented a separate track for public funds managers who have been in their positions less than four years. New public funds managers will take FIN 102: Understanding Basic Municipal Debt Structures, INV 104: Bonds Made Simple, CASH 125: Bank Analysis Statements Explained, as well as one additional class of their choice.
