Treasurer Mandel Releases 2017 Annual Report

COLUMBUS – Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel announced today the release of his Fiscal Year 2017 Annual Report.

“We’re leading the charge in the Treasurer’s office to make Ohio a national leader in transparency, financial independence, and protecting taxpayers’ money,” said Treasurer Mandel.  “We’re proud of the work we’ve done and continue to push forward to empower taxpayers.”

The report also highlights how Treasurer Mandel has: 
Created transparency partnerships with over 1,200 Ohio local governments and schools to place their spending information online at;
Announced the launch of the first public Ohio university checkbooks on with the launch of Ohio University, Bowling Green State University, Central Ohio Technical College and Central State University;
Partnered with five states, Kentucky, Vermont, Georgia, South Carolina and Missouri, to launch STABLE Accounts in order to offer investment opportunities to individuals with disabilities;
Continued to expand financial training opportunities for Ohio’s public funds managers by expanding the total CPIM online course offerings to 14, allowing Ohio’s finance officers the opportunity to receive training at their convenience.
