WARREN - The Trumbull County Educational Service Center and Lordstown announced Monday the launch of their online checkbooks on ohiocheckbook.com.
Ohio Checkbook is an online archive, launched by Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel in 2014, that posts state and local spending information for ease of access by the public.
Lordstown is the first village in Trumbull County to post their spending on the site, with their checkbook detailing transactions representing $19.7 million over the last three years, according to a press release from Mandel's office. The educational service center's checkbook includes $163 million in spending over the past four years.
Trumbull County, Howland Local Schools and Weathersfield are also part of the online database.
