Savings & Resources

In addition to the reduced rate financing provided by the Ohio Treasurer of State, homeowners may be eligible for additional federal tax credits, rebates and incentives:

Summary of the Federal Tax Credits:
  • $500 lifetime limit. If you received over $500 in these tax credits from 2006 – 2010, you are not eligible to receive more
  • 10% off on up to $500 for new insulations, roofs and doors
  • $200 cap on new windows , which must be ENERGY STAR only
  • $150 cap on furnace and boilers  and , which must meet 95% of the AFUE rating system
  • $50 for an advanced main air circulating fan
  • $300 for air conditioners, air source heat pumps, water heaters and biomass stoves
  • 30% of cost with no upper limit on renewable energy sources (geothermal heat pumps, solar energy systems and small residential wind turbines)
